• Players: Stand on opposite sides of a table.
• Starting the game: Flip a coin to decide who gets the ball first.
• Scoring: The goal is to score more points than your opponent. There are two ways to score:
◦ Touchdown: Flick the ball so that part of it hangs over the edge of the opponent’s side of the table without falling off. A touchdown is worth six points.
◦ Field goal: Flick the ball through the opponent’s goal posts, which are formed by placing your hands in a “U” shape. A field goal is worth three points.
• Taking turns: Players take turns flicking the ball. If the ball goes out of bounds or falls off the table, the other player takes possession.
• Winning: The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
• Kickoff: The game starts with a kickoff, where a player flicks the ball off the table. If the ball falls off the table or lands on the edge of the receiving player’s side, the kickoff is redone.
• Making the ball: Fold an 8.5 by 11 inch piece of paper in half lengthwise, then unfold it.
• Using a ruler: Use a ruler to check if a touchdown has been scored.
